Creating a new Profile in Outlook and adding an IMAP account

To create a new outlook profile:
  1. Close Outlook.
  2. Click Start, then go to Control Panel.
  3. If Control Panel is in Category view, click the Category on the right and choose Small Icons.
  4. Click the Mail link in the list in control panel.
  5. In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click the Show Profiles button.
  6. On the General tab, click Add.
  7. In the Profile Name box, type a name (e.g. New Outlook).
You should now be given the option for adding in a new account:
1. Click on 'Manual Setup or Additional Server types'.
2. Enter the following information:

Username: *Full email address*
Password: email password
Account Type: IMAP

Incoming Server: *the mail server for your plan*
Outgoing Server: the mail server for your
[If you are unsure of the server address, please contact support].
Username: *Full email address*
Password: email password

3. Click the 'More Settings' button.
4. Click the 'Outgoing Server' Tab.
5. Tick 'My Outgoing Server requires authentication' and then tick 'use same settings as Incoming Server'.
6. Under the 'Advanced' tab use the following settings:

Encryption Method: SSL
Port 993

+ Outgoing Server
Encryption Method: SSL
Port 465

7. Click 'Ok' to save the changes and close the window.
8. Then click 'Next' which should test your new settings.

You can now set the new profile as Default under the Mail window which you launch from the control panel. To do this:
  1. Tick the option for Always use this Profile
  2. Select the New profile you created from the drop down list.
  3. Click Ok
