Q. How to I create a custom error page on the Plesk platform?

A. To create replace an error page with a custom error log into your control panel.

Click the option named "web directories" or "virtual directories" depending on the package.

When the page has loaded you will see tabs across the top of the page with one named "Error Documents". Click this tab.

Find the error page you wish to change, for example "404" for page not found and click that error page.

You now have three options in the drop down box that shows on that page:

1. DEFAULT - set pack to the system default error page
2. FILE - Enter a file name for your error page, for example c:\inetpub\vhosts\mydomain.com\httpdocs\my error folder\myerrorpage.html
3. URL - For example /myerror folder/myerrorpage.html

Note, the error page if you opt for option 2 (FILE) should be located within your site directory structure in httpdocs
