How can I manage my SQL database without SQL enterprise manager?

We have installed a tool called WebSQL which will allow you to manage your databases through a standard web browser.

Using this tool, you can create and design tables, views, stored procedures, as well as perform database queries.

This should not be considered a full replacement for SQL Enterprise manager, however and we would recommend wherever possible that Enterprise manager is the recommended solution.

When you signed up - you would have been given details of which SQL server your database is on.

If you connect to the internet in your usual manner - then open up a web browser (Internet Explorer is probably best for this) - then enter the address of the server you have been allocated a database on in your web browser.

You should then be prompted for a username/password - enter your usual SQL username/password.

You should then be presented with the web administration tools.
